Welcome to nWTLL FORMERLY OASCD

Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year Oregon educators! NWTLL formerly known as Oregon ASCD has joined forces with other nonprofits from across the country to form  the Teaching, Learning, and Leadership Legacy Network T3LN. Your Oregon Membership will allow you to access programming from the Network at no additional membership cost.

Your work with our students significantly impacts not only their current academic success but also the trajectory of their futures and the limitless possibilities that lie ahead. The challenge of this work is made easier by our collaboration together and the ways that we support one another across our state and region. I am thrilled by the opportunity to facilitate this work alongside you as your new NWTLL (OASCD) president as we aspire to create the conditions for teaching and learning where every child has access to a high-quality, equitable education that empowers them with the knowledge, skills, and opportunities needed to reach their full potential.

NWTLL (OASCD) has a strong legacy of partnering with educators to provide rich professional learning opportunities. This school year we will continue that work with our Early Learning conference scheduled for April 16-17, 2026 in Portland. This conference is rich with practitioners from diverse locations and offers a variety of topics relevant to their continued development. We hope to see you and early learning leaders from your areas next spring.

At NWTLL (OASCD) we believe in putting research-based practices into action. We have recently partnered with PLC expert Janel Keating to help districts align this powerful practice district-wide.  In this first cohort, four districts have joined forces for regional training to support the development of systems, structures, and practices that make PLCs work. This year we want to invite more districts to engage in this powerful practice. Check out our professional learning page for more information on this opportunity.

We are stronger together. We hope that this is a place for Oregon educators to connect and learn from each other as we work toward the common goal of powerful education for the future of Oregon. I hope to see you at our professional learning opportunities and wish you the very best school year ahead.

Dr. Kourtney Ferrua, NWTLL (OASCD) President
