For the past few years in Oregon, across the country and throughout the world every student, educator and the communities we all support has been challenging. We continue to define what a quality education is in support of the whole child and whole educator. We have learned and adapted as educators in our teaching and leading.
Our commitment in Oregon fosters equity and excellence for every learner through collaboration with educators, partners, and communities. Where every child is healthy, safe, engaged, supported, and challenged and benefits from a world-class, well-rounded and equitable education leading to student success. Oregon ASCD, an affiliate of the International Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development is committed to "Empowering those committed to enhancing education."
Our intent is to provide this website to members and non-members as a place to connect with efforts aimed at ensuring that when young people graduate from high school, they are not only knowledgeable but also emotionally and physically healthy, civically engaged, responsible, and caring.
